 Vision

Sophie Ravenel Ministries (SRM) was born out of the Fire of Revival. The Bible says: “Not by might, nor by power but by My Spirit, says the Lord of Hosts.” Zechariah 4:6. The heart of SRM is to see people not only touched by the Holy Spirit, but also changed in their spirit, soul, and body forever.

Along with bringing the Revival Fire, SRM is also bringing a teaching on how to have financial breakthrough to the Body of Christ. SRM believes that in these end-times, the need for the believers to be empowered financially is vital in the sole purpose of funding the end-time harvest. A very good saying says: “It’s better to teach a man to fish than to give him a fish.“ As children of Abraham, we inherit the same promise in Genesis 12:2 “I will bless you [with abundant increase of favors] and make your name famous and distinguished, and you will be a blessing [dispensing good to others].” (AMP) We are blessed to be a blessing to others.
.
During the 2006 Winter Camp Meeting, at the River Church, SRM received a mandate from the Lord to “Bring back europe_skizze02the Fire of Revival to Europe. ”  Following that mandate, God opened doors to preach in Finland and France. SRM believes that the Fire of Revival will not only help individuals to be wholly restored, but also to stand up and fulfill their destiny in God. The vision is to “pass” the Fire of Revival to those who have hunger and thirst. They will carry the same Fire, in order to see the greatest end time revival in Europe stadiums, which will usher the return of the Lord.

Having lived in France for nineteen years, Sophie understood the need of Revival in Europe where the percentage of born-again believers is the least in comparison to all regions of the world. Through the power of the Holy Spirit and by the grace of God, SRM considers it an honor and a  privilege to be part of this new move of God as He will open doors for ministering in churches and conferences with signs and wonders for His Glory and His Name.

iStock_000003023855XSmall02SRM also has a heart for America, which has been her home for the last six years. God gave her a special love for this country. The vision of seeing America shaken by the Fire of Revival was in an embryonic stage when Sophie moved to America in 2001. It has grown during the time she spent in Revival Bible Institute. As Dr Rodney Howard-Browne often says: “America has seen the greatest teaching and preaching, but now is coming the greatest move of the Holy Spirit”.

You will be blessed as Sophie preaches, teaches and ministers under the anointing of the Holy Spirit for His Glory and His Name.

  Statement of Faith

The Bible is inspired by God. Inspiration means that God, through the Holy Spirit, caused the writers of the Bible to write the accurate and authoritative revelation of God.
(2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

There is only one God (not three) and that one God exists in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 1:1,14; John 15:26)

God is love and  He wants to bring good news to the poor, comfort the brokenhearted, set the captives free, and give joy to those who mourn and are in despair.
(Isaiah 61:1-3; Luke 4:18-19)

Man
was originally made pure, without sin. Adam and Eve rebelled against God and sinned by eating the forbidden fruit We inherit our sinful natures from Adam. All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.  Salvation through Jesus Christ is by faith, not by works. It’s a free gift.
 (Genesis 1:26; Romans 5:12-21, Romans 3:23, Romans 6:23)

We believe in water baptism. It is following the example of Jesus, as an outward sign representing His burial and resurrection in the believer’s life.
(Matthew 3:13-17; Matthew 18:19; Romans 6:4)

We believe in the Baptism of the Holy Spirit to empower the believer to be a witness, and to live as a child of God in a new and victorious way by obeying his Spirit
(Matthew 3:11, acts 1:8; Romans 7:6)

Each believer receives spirituals gifts from God to serve one another.
(1 Peter 4:10; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11)

Sanctification
is the carrying on to perfection the work begun in regeneration, and it extends to the whole man.
(Romans 6:13; 2 Corinthians 4:6; Colossians 3:10)

The Holy Spirit has been sent into the believer’s life to be the Comforter, Counselor, Helper, Advocate, Intercessor, Strengthener, and Stand By.
(John 14:16-17, 26; John 15:26; 1 John 5:7 )

Healing
through divine intervention, as in response to prayer, or because of faith, is available to people because of the finished work of Jesus at the cross. Healing includes physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual restoration.
(Luke 9:11; Matthew 9:35; Acts 10:38; Matthew 10:1)

Hell
is a real place of eternal punishment for those who died without Christ. God sent His Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life.
(Hebrews 9:27; Revelation 20:12-15; John 3:16- 18 )

Jesus
has been taken to heaven and will come back  to save everyone who accepted Him as Lord and Savior.
(Acts 1:11; 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17; Hebrews 9:28)
